“Don’t be afraid! I am the First and Last. I am the living one. I died, but look–I am alive forever and ever!” ope of Glory
This is why we work hard and continue to struggle, for our hope is in the living God, who is the Saviour of all people and particularly of all believers. 1 Timothy 4:10
Because of our faith, Christ has brought us into this place of undeserved privilege where we now stand, and we confidently and joyfully look forward to sharing God’s glory. We can rejoice, too, when we run into problems and trials, for we know that they help us develop endurance. And endurance develops strength of character, and character strengthens our confident hope of salvation. And this hope will not lead to disappointment. For we know how dearly God loves us because he has given us the Holy Spirit to fill our hearts with his love. Romans 5:2-5
If we are faithful to the end, trusting God just as firmly as when we first believed, we will share in all that belongs to Christ. The Scriptures in Psalm 27:14 encourage us to wait patiently for the Lord; as we await God’s response to all the happenings in the world today.
We put our hope in the LORD. He is our help and shield. When things are at their darkest and worst, hope appears in the form of love to light up the dark. When all is hopeless, then hope keeps us going. If it were not for hope, we would all have had broken hearts. Praise the Lord; for He is good. His love is infinite. He gives us hope out of love.
1. Pray that we will hold tightly without wavering to the hope we affirm, for God can be trusted to keep his promise.
2. Pray that as we put our trust in the LORD, we will find new strength in the days, weeks and months ahead.
3. Do pray that all our eyes will look to God in hope to give us our food as we need it. When God opens His hand, He satisfies the hunger and thirst of every living thing.
4. Christ our Lord has risen indeed!! (We thank you all for joining in these Special Prayers, as we shall be winding down in the next two days, God willing. God bless you richly. Do keep up the fire burning). HAPPY EASTER!
